ABOUT ME

My mission is to share my knowledge of tango, helping every student find a comfortable embrace and the freedom to dance.

My Tango Journey

I started my tango journey in my home state of Arizona, USA. My first steps were in a choreography-focused studio, and at the time, I truly believed that was all there was to tango. It wasn’t until I took an extracurricular class in college that I discovered the true essence of the dance. In that course, I learned the fundamentals—the embrace, the walk, and the profound connection—and that’s when my passion truly ignited.

I grew as a dancer very quickly, moving from a student to an assistant teacher in a short amount of time. My passion for sharing the dance led me to organize events and teach even more classes. Almost a decade ago, I made the life-changing decision to move to Berlin. It’s here that I’ve been able to dedicate my life to teaching tango, becoming a regular teacher at renowned schools like Mala Junta and others across the city.

Beyond my regular classes in Berlin, I am a dedicated tango artist in many other ways. I regularly travel to Poland to give lessons, perform in shows, and have the pleasure of working as a tango DJ for various events.

My greatest joy, however, comes from teaching. I am deeply passionate about helping others connect with this beautiful dance, and I constantly challenge myself to improve my teaching methods. I believe that my job as a teacher is to question, to learn, and to give you the tools you need to find a comfortable embrace and the freedom to dance with confidence.
